Still geeking out over the Chicago Ideas Week talk about food today. Mario Batali is actually quite hilarious and Marty from the Spence Farm that works with Stephanie Izard was just the sweetest ever. He actually has amazing programs to cultivate farmers in rural areas. Check out his foundation: http://spencefarmfoundation.org/
One bright spot in my my terribly long insane week. Back to regularly scheduled chaos.

Probably the last night out in bare legs. Goodbye legs, see you in Cabo! Leggings & tights, here we come! #sorry4theselfie #notreally

What a fun weekend. Friday night began with KP’s bday celebration at Sushi O Sushi, where apparently after 30 you get sat outside and rotating waiters. Whom, might I add are very fun to mess with and make sing K pop songs to you. In a saki/wine/sushi haze, we ended up at River Shannon where none of us had ever been… wrapped the night by singing and getting insulted by gingers. Hmmph. Great fun with our foursome.
Saturday was busy with errands and trying to enjoy the gorgeous day while running around trying to get ready for my friend Katheryn’s wedding. I was in such a rush, I managed to overshoot when we needed to be there. I’m not sure if you’ve ever shown up thirty minutes early to a wedding… but let me tell you, it’s a great way to start a fun night.
So lucky to have my partner in crime, KMH with me at my Jr. League co-VP’s black tie wedding this weekend, where we knew no one. Well, except for one weird, inappropriately dressed girl and family uncle we’ve worked with… anyway.
Gorgeous reception at the Sofitel, great food (the apps alone, I die!) and drinks including a beer the groom brewed himself for the occasion! The triangle of trust (me, KMH and random dude at our table) kept things on lock most of the night, bevs on bevs, dance floor danger. I’m not quite sure how,  but thank goodness we all made it home safely. Three weddings down, one to go this year!
